BLOW-ME-DOWN MOUNTAINS HIKE & SWIM

Enjoy an amazing sightseeing trip along Newfoundland's Bay of Islands, all the way to the 400,000 million-year-old Blow-me-Down Mountains.

A short hike through the Blow-me-Down ecological reserve brings us to our destination - a secluded lagoon in the middle of the mountains - an idealic place to swim. Here you will be walking on rock which once formed part of the earth's mantle.

Enjoy the pristine waters of the Blow-me-Down Mountains swimming lagoon nestled inside the walls of a limestone gorge and framed by old growth trees. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside Blow-me-Down Brook and take in the beautiful vistas before returning to the Humber Valley.
